About Me

Hi, my name's Cara, and I have been a sports fan for as long as I can remember. By the 2017/2018 Premier League football season I was going to Wembley at age six/seven years old with my Dad and Uncle to watch Tottenham Hotspur football team. As well as football, I quickly became a Formula One fan because of dad watching the grand prix on Sundays and being a Lewis Hamilton fan, I became a Mercedes fan.​

 

This love for sports quickly led to a love and passion in competing in sports, since age nine, I have involved myself in as much sports competitions and teams as I could, like football, netball, athletics, rounders and more. By the time I was in year 8 in middle school, I was captaining many of the teams, including netball, football and athletics, - and the netball team won our division and were promoted into the U13s A league for the Windsor, Maidenhead and Ascot schools. As well as this, in year 7-8, we consecutively secured second place in athletics for the Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough and Ascot schools. After moving on into my new school for year 9, I was accepted into the school's netball, football and athletics team and even captained the netball and the athletics in my first year and then again captained again in year 10. As well as this, we won first place in athletics in year 9, and then second place in year 10.  In March 2026, I had the opportunity to go to Malaga in Spain on a sports tour to play football, we played a tournament where we secured 2nd place overall. In September 2025, my school football team was entered into the Under-15s IMBA cup which we won.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This has lead me to realise that my love for sport has made me want to have a career in sport because I can’t remember my life without it and my passion for it has only grown as I’ve grown up and it’s what I want to do with my future.
